The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing.
Role Description:
Dispatch, track, and maintain communications gear and electronics such as UHF, VHF, and HF radios, digital voice recorders, communications switches, touch screen displays, airfield communications systems, for AAR WASS.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch and or install portable and avionics communications and navigation aid systems.Maintain local communication systems and troubleshoot issues.Test, align, and adjust local equipment, replace and repair faulty components. Maintain equipment disposition and maintenance records, spare parts, supply stock, tools, and technical manuals.Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies and applicable laws.Provide technical guidance to subordinate personnel. Perform comparison checks on repaired equipment in accordance with test standards. Requisition materials and parts for communications equipment. Perform 24-hour on call duties on a rotating basis.Performs other duties as assigned.About Us:

Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Compensation and Benefits:
