The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing.
**Role Description:**
Assists HR management team with HR related tasks, the scope of responsibility varies. Administrative duties include but are not limited to HR Services, record keeping, and employee benefits.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assist with various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel, assist in development and implementation of policies and procedures, and HR Administration Manual.
+ Maintains accurate and up to date human resource files, records, and documentation.
+ Assists with separation procedures to include but not limited to exit interview process, departing emails, and processing documentation as required.
+ Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, etc. refers more complex questions to appropriate senior level HR staff or management.
+ Maintains Human Resource Information System EV6 records and compiles reports from database to include but not limited to new hire, termination, and processing documentation as required.
+ Assists in coordination of company required training, compile training reports and communication to ensure compliance with corporate requirements.
+ Maintains integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
+ Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
+ Manage work to meet deadlines often under tight timeframes and assist team members when required.
+ Update personnel records and ensure the documentation is appropriate and up to date.
+ Provides clerical support to the HR department.
+ Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
+ Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
+ Position requires a U.S. Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust MRPT.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
**Basic Qualifications** **:**
+ A.A. from an accredited institution and three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred
+ Minimum of two 2 years in a similar HR supporting role.
+ Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft applications.
+ Experience in working in a customer oriented professional environment.
+ Excellent attention to detail.
+ Strong communication and presentation skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
+ Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments, work with little supervision and work well under pressure.
**Preferred:**
+ HR Certification.
+ Bilingual English Spanish Skills and Experience Required.
