WASS Training Supervisor

The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing. **Role Description:** Responsible for planning, coordinating, meeting established training requirements. Provide Supervisor activities to all common core training activities, including training of contract and Foreign Nation personnel in accordance with contractual requirements and as authorized by USG, to include plans and programs relevant to aviation and aviation support tasks. Ensuring all contract and Foreign Nation personnel meet all established training requirements. Set departmental goals and objectives as a critical part of meeting or exceeding the companys mission and obligation. **Key Responsibilities:** + Plan, coordinate and supervise all training activities, to include off site flight standardization training courses, support of the WASS global aviation contract, as well as other functional section required training IAW PWS or authorized by the USG. + Direct the training process and manage its effectiveness to efficiently produce the highest caliber of employee in a timely manner. + Ensure personnel are appropriately trained to perform their duties on the contract before being deployed. + Ensure the relevance, accuracy, and compliance of all specified and contract required training. + Support and assist training at overseas sites to achieve all contract required objectives. + Supervise and standardize all training personnel and ensure they are well prepared, qualified and the proper tools are in place for those individuals to perform their assigned work functions. + Ensure all training records are accurate and meet compliance. + Maintain and manage an integrated training schedule and ensure it is accurate and well distributed to all stakeholders. + Act as a Subject Matter Expert SME on training regulatory matters and respond to questions from senior management, customers, and students as appropriate. + Seek, sell and implement training industry developments and best practices to improve the quality and effectiveness of customer required training at lower cost. + Assist the Training or Operations Manager when required in the performance of duties or decision-making process. + Perform routine OCONUS travel and within CONUS travel as required. + Position requires a U.S. security clearance. + Perform other duties as assigned. \#LI-HD1 Qualifications: **Basic Qualifications** **:** + Bachelors degree from four-year college or university in a related field and or combination of education and related experience. + Graduate of formal instructor course is mandatory with military or commercial certificate. + 8 years recent experience managing military, international or foreign military sales aviation technical training programs with significant foreign national training responsibilities is required, or 12 years equivalent experience without a degree. + Equivalent experience defined as at least 8 years in military aviation, DOD or FMS programs, aerospace education, technical training, security assistance training or commercial aviation training as a training specialist, instructional technologist, technical instructor, courseware developer, course manager, training specialist, analyst or coordinator at a resident technical school, field training center, international training program, flight training or commercial aviation training facility. **Preferred:** + Aviation, training, or maintenance MOS series or another military or commercial equivalent desired. + Direct experience within the last 5 years planning, developing, and conducting training of foreign nationals in aviation-related programs is highly desired. + Minimum of Two (2) years of aviation training or maintenance experience with H-60. **OCONUS:** + Ability to pass physical screening. + Passport with 18 months remaining. + LATAM positions require Level 2 Spanish. + Willing to relocate. **Compensation and Benefits:** + Salaried Position. + Work schedule 40-48 hours. + Competitive salary and bonus package. + Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage. + 401(k) retirement plan with company match + Generous paid time off program + Professional development and career advancement opportunities AAR is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
