Following the removal of consumer single-use plastics from use at Kew in 2019, and the launch of our sustainability strategy in 2021, Kew has been working to deliver a series of improvements to our waste and recycling processes, as identified by external waste reviews at both Kew Gardens and Wakehurst, which is tracked in our waste action plan.
