Wood is currently looking for a Waste Management Advisor to join our team in Basra, Iraq on a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotational work

Purpose of subject position

Coordinate the operationally of the Waste Management Facility Act as subject matter expert in the Management of the Facility Assist with the development of the Waste Management training of personnel Ensure compliance with Iraqi regulations & waste management requirements Provide environmental compliance and permit technical support to company operations, ensuring all activities adhere to environmental regulations and company policies. Drive and oversee environmental protection initiatives, identifying and mitigating environmental risks, and promoting continuous improvement of the environmental management system. Offer expert environmental advice and assist project teams in meeting environmental standards during project planning, construction, and operations.
