**Job Title: Waste Water Technician** **Job Description** This position is looking for someone with water testing experience. Candidates with experience testing pool water are also considered. This role serves as a stepping stone to become a maintenance technician, involving training with the maintenance team. The candidate must be able to work independently after receiving training. The role requires the sanitation of water tanks and the safe and accurate operation of the water treatment process. Additionally, the position involves monitoring facilities equipment and performing minor mechanical repairs to production process equipment. **Responsibilities** + Conduct water testing and analysis. + Sanitize water tanks and ensure safe operation of the water treatment process. + Monitor facilities equipment and perform minor mechanical repairs to production process equipment. + Manage sludge and use solvents and cleaning agents. + Perform chemical analysis procedures (training provided). **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical inclination. + Time management skills. + Attendance and reliability. + Ability to work independently. + Superb attention to detail. + Basic understanding of arithmetic and basic math. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Water treatment experience. + Maintenance and mechanical aptitude. + Comfortable in PPE clothing including smocks, face masks, and flame retardant suits. + Computer savvy. + An AA or BS degree (nice to have). **Why Work Here?** Join a supportive team that values your contributions and offers growth opportunities. You will handle equipment that holds chemicals, and wear full smocks, face masks, and sometimes flame retardant suits.
