Job Title:                         Wastewater Technician Classification:                  Non-Exempt Department:                    Environmental, Health & Safety Reports to:                      EHS Supervisor Shift:                               Night Shift  Purpose : Operate and maintain all Wastewater (Outside System and Treatment Building).  Monitoring UFOs, EP Water Softeners and Cooling Towers.  General Duties: + Responsible for operating and maintain the Wastewater Treatment Building and Outside System + Responsible for maintaining chemicals. + Monitor water quality compliance from UFOs, EP Wastewater Discharge and Cooling Tower + Collect data on Systems and perform specific checks + Investigate all issues and determine root cause of failure + Perform periodic replacements as needed + Report findings to Engineering when necessary + Provide detailed pass downs to the incoming shift + Help in maintaining inventory for department to perform accurate repairs. + Maintain good safe working practices. + Organize and maintain work areas for a good 5S. + Perform all duties necessary in creating an efficient, effective, and affordable Wastewater department. + Will perform other functions as required Skills : + Equipment Maintenance + Repairing + Troubleshooting + Critical Thinking + Equipment Selection Requirements : + 1 Year Industrial Maintenance experience + Minimum of 1-year experience in Wastewater systems + High School Diploma or GED required + 2-year college degree (preferred)   Powered by JazzHR
