Essential Duties / Tasks (included but not limited to):

Handle chemicals in liquid, dry and gas forms.Operate WWT equipment.Sample / collect, view, record and interpret / analyze data to operate equipment.Perform math calculations to determine proper operating conditions.Place items like chemicals and equipment in their proper locationsPick-up and deliver chemicals in the plant.Perform preventive maintenance.Observe equipment and systems to detect abnormal operating conditions.Clean and maintain an orderly work environment by adhering to visual workplace standards.Continually improve WWT processes. Collect quarterly air monitoring samples. Perform housekeeping duties consistent with 5S and visual workplace standards. Perform ERGO stretches.Work safely while performing job duties.Complete hazard observations and observe unsafe conditions and report both using Delta Faucet’s standard procedures.

Education, Experience, and Skills:HS degree or HS equivalency diploma is recommended.PIV licenseMathematical aptitudeAbility to ascend and descend ladders and stairs several times a shift.Ability to work overtime including weekends, often on short notice.Complete a brief questionnaire about the position.Willingness to work toward State of Indiana WWT certification.Good verbal and written communication skillsGood planning and organization skills.Ability to work independently with limited supervision.Acceptable disciplinary performance – Employees who have received a written warning (first or second) are not eligible for promotions or transfers for a minimum of six months after receiving that warning.Acceptable attendance performance - Employees who have six or more points are not eligible for promotions or transfers.A human performance evaluation or HPE is an evaluation of a person’s physical ability to do a job
