Work Shift: Monday-Friday
2nd Shift (weekends and overtime as needed)
Shift Differential of $1.00 for 2nd and 3rd shifts
Responsibilities:
Our Wastewater Operator of MS-WWTO may be required to perform a variety of duties including but not limited to:
Operation of wastewater analysis laboratoryOperation and maintenance of wastewater collection systemOperation and maintenance of wastewater pre-treatment system Operation and maintenance of wastewater full treatment system or operation and maintenance of any other type of water or wastewater treatment system. Collecting samples for analysis in accordance with EPA state and or health departments regulationsPerforming a variety of chemical analysis both in and out of a laboratory settingMaking system adjustments based on interpretation of results from chemical analysisMaking educated decisions on maintaining regulatory compliancePerforming mathematical calculations utilizing basic algebraic formulas and a calculator Completing computerized reportsCompiling information and correctly completing monthly reports as required by permits state authority EPA or corporate management.Utilization of basic organizational skills basic mechanical skills basic electrical wiring skillsProper communication of current operational status to upper managementMaintaining operations logsPerforming minor to major maintenance on equipmentOperation of a spotter tuck and or a forklift.Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience: 1 plus years Maintenance/Wastewater/Lab Setting experience preferred.Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with knowledge in Word and Excel.Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills are critical.CERTIFICATION: Must successfully complete a storm water training program selected by site management within thirty days. Candidates must also successfully complete and obtain lowest grade certification program within twelve months or in accordance with State regulations. Candidates must also obtain the second highest grade certification through the state certification program or other entity within twenty-four months of completion of initial requirements or in accordance with State regulations.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physically lifting of heavy objects 30 pounds climbing and or descending stairs or ladders; grounds keeping; painting; general housekeeping; working in unsanitary conditions; working with hazardous chemicals.Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneMust reside in the US, this role does not offer sponsorship.Relocation Assistance Eligible:
