Summary: This position is responsible for the proper daily operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment system. This position assists the supervisor in frontline supervision for all mechanics technicians and operators assigned to the area and facilitates the determination of daily work schedules and priorities for the same. This position field checks job sites to monitor progress to ensure proper execution of tasks identities any safety regulatory concerns and applicable procedures or safeguards that must be followed and assists with performing maintenance tasks and work responsibilities. This position initiates orders as needed for parts and materials and provides follow up to orders. This position assists in reviewing personnel job performance along with work quality and quantity as well as providing follow up to personnel regarding job completed. This position must adhere to and promote all applicable safety environmental policies and procedures follow and promote best practices related to food safety policies and procedures and utilize the Megamation system for data entry and work management. This position is expected to project a positive attitude and handle situation and personnel in a professional manner maintain and promote open communication and positive working relationships with all plant personnel and departments and serve as a positive representative of the company both at work and outside of the plant. Must achieve and maintain 98 attendance. Normal work schedule will be Monday through Friday with some weekend and holiday work required. Must be flexible to adjust work schedule and hours based on plant needs. Work schedule may vary and subject to change depending on business needs. Other duties as necessary and as assigned by department management.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must possess a valid State of Iowa Wastewater Operator s License.

Experience: Must possess a minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience with preference to applicable management experience. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can pass a urinalysis screening which is part of a post-offer health assessment.
