**Refrigeration Technician** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring optimal performance of our equipment. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep our refrigeration systems running efficiently. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance. + Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration equipment and implement effective solutions. + Monitor and adjust refrigeration systems to maintain desired temperatures and ensure product quality. + Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to the supervisor. + Collaborate with team members to optimize system performance and improve efficiency. + Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. + Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in refrigeration technology. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent. + EPA License (Environmental Protection Agency) is required. + Willingness to obtain RETA (Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association) certification, with company support for training and certification costs. + Previous experience in refrigeration maintenance and repair is preferred. + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Good communication skills and attention to detail. + Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required. **Working Conditions:** + This position may require standing for long periods and working in various temperature conditions. + Must be able to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds. **Benefits:** + Competitive salary + Health, dental, and vision insurance + 401(k) plan with company match + Paid time off and holidays + Opportunities for career advancement + Support for obtaining RETA certification + Sign on Bonus! **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $79040.00/yr. - Hourly employees receive their pay every Friday. - Medical benefits are provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield. - Dental coverage is through Delta Dental. - Vision benefits are offered by VSP. - Company offers onsite Wellness Center at no cost for employees enrolled in our benefits program, including their immediate family members. - Employee Assistance Program (EAP). - Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). - Employees are eligible for 40 hours of vacation starting on the 91st day. - 8 paid holidays each year **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Milford,DE. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Feb 13, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
