**Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description** This position involves working in a facility dedicated to disassembling, repairing, and re-assembling watches for customers. The role requires precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols. **Responsibilities** + Disassemble, assemble, and lubricate watch component parts as directed. + Evaluate the need for replacement parts. + Troubleshoot and correct movements and defective or worn parts. + Ensure department productivity and quality rate goals are consistently met and maintained. + Ensure spare parts usage rate is consistent with department goals. + Follow SOPs and safety protocols. + Maintain proper conditions of tools and equipment. + Process all paperwork for jobs and trays, including movements and case numbers. + Ensure jobs and trays are properly processed through central coordination station or WMI at the personal workbench. **Essential Skills** + Experience with hand tools and mechanical assembly. + Ability to disassemble and reassemble small watch components. + Use of precision tools and equipment. + Ability to work in a cleanroom environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Alpha-numeric recognition. + Strong organizational skills. + Excellent attention to detail. + Good hand-eye coordination. + Ability to use a magnifying glass (monocle). + High School Diploma or GED required. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a very clean and organized environment with great opportunities for additional training and career advancement. Tasks are performed independently, with minimal interaction with co-workers outside of breaks.
