**Waterjet Operator**
**Description**
Operate a waterjet to process high-quality products in a technology-advanced facility. The role involves using CAD/CAM software to refine customer sketches and ensuring machine operation meets job specifications. This position requires working specific shifts: Wednesday 12pm-7pm; Thursday - Saturday 6am-6pm. Enjoy Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays off.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate OMAX waterjet to process high-quality products.
+ Utilize CAD/CAM software to finalize designs from customer drawings and diagrams.
+ Read job specifications to determine and maintain machine adjustments and material requirements.
+ Work with quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers.
+ Perform basic dimensional tolerances and continually measure workpiece dimensions to ensure specification accuracy.
+ Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goals.
**Essential Skills** **& Qualifications**
+ Experience with waterjet operation, production, CNC, and machine operation.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and set up machines.
+ Proficiency in using quality inspection tools like micrometers and calipers.
+ Basic math skills including fractions and decimals.
+ Experience with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
+ Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
+ Minimum 18 years of age.
