We are hiring a Water Operator to join our new team in Jasper, Georgia.

Responsibilities Operate water plant, monitoring all equipment and chemicals to ensure water meets applicable standardsCollect and record data for record maintenance and reporting to designated state agenciesMonitor treatment process for compliance by inspecting equipment, monitor conditions, meters, and gaugesConduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs of treatment equipment.Work closely with team members and management to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues promptlyFollow all safety protocols and operational procedures to maintain a safe working environmentParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant performance and efficiency Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent experience will be considered.Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred). Georgia Water Operator’s License required.Knowledge of regulatory rules, process control techniques, maintenance procedures, and safe practices to efficiently implement and maintain operations.Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24-hour emergency on-call, to support our strict operational requirements.Ability to follow manual and operating instructions. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the internet. Basic knowledge of water/wastewater operations.Gives a positive internal and external customer experience. Willing to help others and maintains composure in complicated situations.Pays attention to detail. Identifies and solves problems. Advances issues accordingly. Checks work for quality.Balances multiple tasks efficiently while working well with supervision. Takes projects to completion and follows all company policies and SOPs.

Physical Demands

Must be able to frequently lift 50-60 pounds; load, unload, and move large equipment/tools; access confined spaces; continuously walk and climb stairs and ladders.
