Water Operator
Job Title: Water Operator (hiring for at least 4 positions!)

Job Description

As a Water Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of water transfer systems, ensuring efficient and reliable water supply for various applications. Your role involves communication via radio, cellular, and satellite systems, as well as controlling pumps and valves both locally and remotely through SCADA systems.

ResponsibilitiesMonitoring pumps, tanks, lines, and other field equipment used in the water transfer process.Using hand and power tools when needed.Monitoring frac tanks to ensure they have a sufficient amount of water for the site.Performing general labor duties related to the water transfer process.Walking lines in the field to ensure there are no leaks in the system.Essential Skills6+ months of outdoor or industrial experience.Experience using hand and power tools.Valid driver's license.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Experience in the oil and gas industry or at least 3+ years of related experience (construction, manufacturing, landscaping, etc.).Knowledge of landscape, construction, oil, gas, OSHA, water transfer, and Safeland.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our contractors will be working outdoors in all weather conditions and on well sites. Flexible hours are required, with shifts typically lasting 10-12 hours. At times, you may work up to 60-80 hours per week. The majority of work is local to the Washington county area. Contractors must provide their own steel toe boots within their first week of work as a preliminary safety requirement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00
