Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Execute complex assignments related to planning, estimating, scheduling, bid preparation, project, and construction management for water and wastewater infrastructure, including transmission pipelines, reservoirs, dams, pumps, and water/wastewater treatment systems.
+ Manage and administer all aspects of water and wastewater projects, including constructability reviews, project processes, compliance, and stakeholder communication.
+ Assist the California Division of Safety of Dams (DSOD) in ensuring work is done according to approved plans and specifications.
+ Coordinate structural, hydrologic, hydraulic, and geotechnical evaluations.
+ Ensure adherence to safety regulations and develop long-term client relationships.
+ Participate in marketing business opportunities and local professional organizations.
+ Interface with multi-disciplinary teams and mentor team members.
+ Present to municipal boards and city councils and work with regulatory agencies for project permitting and funding.
+ Maintain a substantial presence on project sites.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent (relevant project management experience may be considered in place of education).
+ At least 12 years of project and construction management experience in water and/or wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, reservoirs, dams, and conveyance pipelines.
+ Strong communication, technical writing, and time-management skills.
+ Thorough understanding of contracts, documents, drawings, and specifications.
+ Proficient in various project delivery methods and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite products and project control systems like Prolog and Primavera.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Professional Engineer (or successful completion of Engineer-in-Training examination).
+ Project, construction management, and inspection experience.
+ Relevant contractor experience.
+ Credentials such as CMAA, Project Management, DBIA, LEED, Envision.
+ Local experience within California.
Compensation:
+ Salary range: $115,000 - $145,000, based on education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

+ Understanding of contracts, documents, drawings, and specifications, and applied experience in project accounting, cost, administrative, and personnel interaction in professional settings.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
