Compensation: $35-40/hour, depending on experienceLocation: Jal, NMWork Schedule: 10/4 RotationAssignment Duration: 6 months+Benefits: Comprehesive insurance, 401(k), PTO and holidays Responsibilities Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot Water pump assets in the fieldFocus on performing repairsMaintain a strong focus on Health, Safety and Environment as well as quality of work being performedMay spend time in shop, satellite facility, mobile unit or customer location in field. Work in shop environment which also involves noise, temperature extremes, dust and fumesMay be exposed to possible hazards including loud noise, heavy machinery, travel hazards and extreme weather conditionsStanding for long periods of time, walking, climbing, frequent lifting of up to 50 lbsHand, foot motions of fork lift operationsDriving vehiclesRepetitive motions associated with job tasks Qualifications US -High School Diploma or equivalentValid driver’s licenseDemonstrated ability to read, write and speak EnglishBasic PC skillsMinimum 18 months experience as a water pump technicianDemonstrate strong mechanical aptitude. Demonstrate efficient use of hand tools – manual, pneumatic and electricDemonstrated Commitment to Health, Safety and EnvironmentMust be able and willing to travelMay not have any active positive discipline records within the past 6 months, or scored a "Needs Improvement" on most recent performance appraisalMust display good customer relations skillsDemonstrate understanding of precision measuring
