We are seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our team in one of our Florida offices in Tampa, Tallahassee, or Orlando.

Responsibilities: The technical execution of water resource engineering projects from start to finish Develop technical approaches and costing, analysis of field and modeling data, interpretation of modeling results, and hydraulic design Technical writing (proposals, memos, reports, etc.) Collaboration with other technical staff Coordination with regulatory agencies (e.g., Water Management Districts (WMDs), Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and the Mining and Mitigation Program)

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Hydraulic or Civil Engineering 4 to 8 years of experience in civil or hydraulic engineering A strong understanding of Florida  regulations WMDs/FDEP Hydraulic modeling and analysis experience (e.g., HEC RAS, ICPR4, XPSWMM) Demonstrated experience working with public utilities providing potable water supplies Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred Project management experience is a plus DHI MIKE SHE or an equivalent experience is a plus, and a fundamental understanding of integrated surface water groundwater modeling Strong technical writing skills
