In the role of Water Resources Engineer, we'll count on you to:Assist in project and task-level management activities, as well as project engineering working on the application of various engineering studies, and design in the development and analysis of water resources projects.Water resources and water supply planning, hydrologic and hydraulic modelingDevelopment of 1D/2D hydrologic and hydraulic models to assess project impacts to floodplainsDevelopment of dam and levee breach modelingConduct analyses to develop alternatives, design options, or recommendations for water resource projects, dam designs, dam assessments, and reservoir operationsAssist in the preparation of reports and collect, assimilate, and present data in technical and non-technical reports. Individual should be able to work independently as well as plan, organize, and assist groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians.Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and software including experience with: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-GeoHMS, HEC –GeoRAS, ArcGIS.Scripting and other programming experience preferred.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent fieldPrevious experience in water resources engineering projects Professional Engineer (PE) licenseExcellent oral and written communication skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
