**MUST LIVE IN FLORIDA FOR THIS ROLE****THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION BUT THE INDIVIDUAL MUST LIVE IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA**Job Description We are currently seeking a Water Resources expert to support our water modeling projects with various water management districts and municipal clients. Responsibilities + Advise customers on their most complex modeling challenges. + Develop and propose solutions that bring value to our customers by helping them solve their critical water modeling challenges. + Provide expertise with ICPR/StormWise, as well as knowledge in other related software (AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, etc.). + Develop watershed-level models. + Build real-time flood forecasting systems. + Evaluate/Assess data, understand data gaps, collect additional data, and incorporate the data into modeling platforms. + Run simulations and calibrate water models. + Support other engineering, design, and GIS related tasks based on individual passions and qualifications. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related field. + 3+ years of water resources experience, including hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling. + Experience with large-scale watershed studies. + Expert in ICPR/StormWise. + Knowledge of AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM or equivalent software. + Ability to process/analyze results and prepare technical reports. + Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. + Ability to work within a team environment. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
