Job Description
A reputable civil engineering firm is seeking a mid-level Water Resources/Stormwater Engineer with 4+ years of relevant stormwater design experience to join their team in either New Castle, DE or Dover, DE. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microstation/AutoCAD and have a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field.
ResponsibilitiesPerform calculations for drainage design, including spread, pipe and swale capacity, hydraulic grade line, and shear stress.Conduct design/computations for stormwater management design, using methods such as NRCS Method, Rational Method, DURMM, pond modeling, and non-structural BMP modeling.Prepare reports and analyses for drainage and stormwater designs.Design and analyze erosion and sediment control practices.Prepare plans and details illustrating designs for drainage, stormwater, and erosion and sediment control.Review and comment on water resource-related elements of project plans.Essential Skills4+ years of stormwater design experience.Proficient in Microstation/AutoCAD.Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field.Experience with HydroCAD, land development, Civil 3D, site development, and grading.Additional Skills & QualificationsEIT (Engineer in Training) certification.Work Environment
Candidates will join a reputable civil engineering firm that works on a wide array of public and private projects in the state of Delaware. The position is in-office with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. A hybrid work arrangement may be considered based on the candidate's experience. The firm offers competitive pay and PTO.

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $46.00
