In the role of Water Resources Engineer - CFD, we'll count on you to:Provide project engineering and task management related to CFD and multi-dimensional hydraulic modelingConduct difficult to complex hydraulic and hydrologic modelingSpecify appropriate engineering evaluation techniques including analytical, 1D, 2D and CFD modelsConduct modeling and analyses related to dams and spillways including hydraulics, scour, cavitation, energy dissipation, hydraulic loadingConduct modeling and analyses related to water/wastewater hydraulics and processesCollect, assimilate and present data in reports, memos and public forumsLead production of models and design calculations and technical reportsWork independently in addition to planning, organizing and assisting groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians dependent on project/taskAssist in water resources permitting effortsPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsMasters Degree or Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or related fieldPrevious experience in applying CFD to water resources engineering projectsProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseFamiliarity with hydraulic engineering software such as HEC-RAS, SRH2D, and 1D/2D stormwaterExcellent oral and written communication skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
