In the role of Water Resources Engineer, we'll count on you to:

Provide project engineering and task management, conduct difficult to complex hydraulic modeling; develop design options or recommendations, collect, assimilate and present data in reports, memos and public forums; lead production of design calculations and technical reports Lead, assist with, or provide oversight for the preparation of contract documents including drawings, specifications, design documentation and criteria, and cost estimates for the design of new and/or rehabilitation of hydraulic structures , irrigation facilities, pump stations, pipelines, water conveyance structures, and other civil capital infrastructureWork independently in addition to planning, organizing and assisting groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians dependent on project/taskConduct water resources planning, plan formulation and concept development, and develop planning documentationAssist in water resources permitting efforts Coordinate design development with multi-disciplinary teamsPerform project management tasksPerform construction phase services such as site observations; lead construction meetings; perform submittal review; develop as-built drawingsCommunicate with clients and external stakeholdersThis role may include client and strategic project development with Federal and State government agencies, water agencies, and utilitiesPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsMS degreeDemonstrable experience with leading water resources design projects, including analysis, reporting, and drawing production 5 years’ experienceExperience with designing for collaborative delivery methods including CM/GC, CMAR, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through Project Management InstituteExperience with HEC-RAS

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent fieldPrevious experience in water resources engineering projectsProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseExcellent oral and written communication skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) Colorado: $70,910.00 - $128,145.00
