Water Resources Sr Project Manager (WA)

Johnson Service Group (JSG) has an immediate opening for an experienced Water Resources Sr Project Manager in the Water and Environment Business Unit.
Locations include Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, Olympia and Woodinville, WA.
The responsibilities for this role will be diverse and will include participating in both business development activities and project management
Client Team Leader responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Responsible for the full relationship and overall client experience of clients in the Water Resources market Develop significant new business, lead client teams and cross-business unit selling, assess client technology trends, and perform client sales forecasting Manage the overall client experience and build, maintain, and deepen the client relationships Coach project managers on client expectations and provide feedback on project manager and delivery team performance, including removing underperforming project managers or staff Engage in project recovery and supports collections as needed Identify and pursue Water Resource-specific project opportunities Project Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Serve as a pursuit champion and project manager as appropriate for Water Resource projects Provide design leadership and guidance to project teams and staff. Review of engineering documents and deliverables for compliance with contractual requirements Work with the Water Resources Practice and Group Leaders to ensure office resources are available to complete existing project work as well as work committed to in proposals Work with the Water Resources Practice and Group Leaders to ensure the Business Unit metrics and utilization, accounts receivable, employee satisfaction, team satisfaction, client satisfaction, profit, at-work revenue factor, operating income, and days sales outstanding Basic Qualifications BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis in stormwater management and/or water resource design Registered Engineer in Washington Strong written and verbal communication skills 15+ years of experience as a hydrology and hydraulic design engineer working on water resource design, stream restoration, and fish passage projects 5+ years in a business development role with clients in the Puget Sound market Experience working with Departments of Transportation, local municipalities and utilities
