About the Role
We have an exciting full-time opportunity, to join the Site Services team in the role of Water Services Team Leader, reporting to the Water Services Supervisor.
In this role, you will assist the water services supervisor in leading a team of various technical disciplines inclusive of Plumbers, Mechanical fitters, Sprinkler fitters and wastewater treatment operators (both Employees and Embedded Contractors) to maintain both production and non-production critical equipment.
The scope includes maintenance of piping, valves and instrumentation for the following:
Production critical dust suppression network Potable water network inclusive of health compliance Fire services Sewage network inclusive of health and environmental compliance
Responsibilities include:
An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development Ensuring conformance with the BHP, Code of Conduct, and relevant statutory obligations Supporting the health and well-being and sustainable development of team members Build and maintain relationships across departments to achieve positive outcomes. Adherence to work management principles and discipline. Supporting continuous improvement in Site Services and customers Strong commitment to the field leadership program and coaching field leadership activities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be an effective and collaborative communicator with the ability to manage multiple business priorities simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, allowing you to influence while enabling you to build solid relationships across the departments.
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
Strong safety leadership skills and a history of field leadership participation Proficient in 1SAP (work management), controlled documents (Tempo), D2 and Success Factors Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Current West Australian drivers license Strong leadership experience in leading and developing teams. An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a drive to develop and learn. Ability to problem solve and react to unplanned situations. Strong understanding of interfacing with production and maintenance teams Strong technical understanding of hydraulic or mechanical related maintenance.
