**Job Title: Water Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Water Technician with experience in general labor, construction, remediation, or restoration. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a customer-facing role. This position involves traveling to client sites for water extraction and restoration tasks and completing daily paperwork. **Responsibilities** + Work under supervision providing the following services: + Water pumping and extraction + Mold remediation + Moving and re-setting contents + Setting drying equipment + Participate as directed in the following activities: + Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections + Maintaining vehicles in clean serviceable condition + Constructing polyethylene enclosures + Removing and disposing of debris + Maintaining equipment + Attend company-sponsored operations and safety training courses + Other duties as assigned **Essential Skills** + General labor experience + Experience in construction, remediation, or restoration + Customer-facing experience + Mechanical aptitude + Proficient with computers for entering basic job/project information + Ability to use a water moisture meter + Proficient reading, writing, and communication skills + Customer service skills + Documentation skills + Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + IICRC Certification + OSHA Construction 10-hour course + Willing to learn and flexible with working nights, weekends, and overtime as needed + Possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic + Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs. + Sustained periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling + Access and mobility in tight spaces + Attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property + Familiarity with chemical products including use, disposal, and Material Safety Data Sheets **Work Environment** You will work at various project sites that are being restored, traveling in a company truck driven by a fellow employee. The main facility is located in Moorestown, NJ. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, but flexibility is required. This role is part of a 24/7 emergency response team with on-call rotations every 4 weeks.
