**Job Posting: Water Transfer Operator** **Location:** Fort Lupton, CO **Salary:** $20 - $22 per hour (depending on shift) **Hours:** 80 hours per week on a rotating schedule **Description:** Water transfer is a critical aspect of hydraulic fracturing (fracking), involving the sourcing, transporting, and managing of water needed to create the high-pressure fluid used to fracture rock formations and extract oil and natural gas. Water can be sourced from rivers, lakes, groundwater, or recycled from previous operations, and is transported via pipelines, tanker trucks, or stored in tanks. Compliance with regulatory and environmental standards is essential to prevent contamination and manage water use effectively.
