Water Treatment Technician
**Job Title: Treatment Technician** **Job Description** The technician will have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the servicing and corrective maintenance of water/wastewater systems, including maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment. This role involves ensuring that key housekeeping and minor maintenance tasks are safely and successfully completed alongside ongoing operations or maintenance activities. Based in Baton Rouge, LA, you will be responsible for general cleanup, painting, and minor corrective maintenance at the North and South wastewater facilities, dealing primarily with raw or partially treated wastewater and its associated treatment systems. **Responsibilities** + Perform a variety of tasks in the housekeeping, general cleanup, painting, and minor corrective maintenance of the wastewater systems. + Safely operate and maintain vehicles, equipment, and tools to load and haul products, dig and refill trenches, maintain grounds and buildings, pressure wash, and paint. + Carry or hold materials, supplies, and tools to assist other maintenance activities as directed. + Maintain accurate records. + Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of everyone at the project. + Perform other duties as required. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to operate and maintain vehicles, equipment, and tools + Experience in loading and hauling products + Experience in digging and refilling trenches + Grounds and building maintenance + Ability to carry or hold materials, supplies, and tools + Record-keeping skills + Commitment to safety, health, and well-being **Why Work Here?** Join a dedicated team that prioritizes safety and health, working in an environment that values teamwork and the well-being of its employees.
