Overview Position: Water Truck/Mixer Truck Driver Wage Range: $26 to $28 per hour WW CLYDE is seeking a Water Truck/Mixer Truck Driver with a tanker endorsement. Responsibilities: + Operate construction trucks in a safe and efficient manner, on and off highway. Trucks could include: water truck, mixer truck, dump truck. + Deliver concrete material to each job within the specifications as instructed on the delivery ticket. + Complete required driver logs & recordkeeping. + Perform Daily inspections and advise supervisor of repairs and maintenance required. + Read and understand operation manuals for trucks other equipment operating. + Recognize risks and hazards on job site working in close proximity with heavy equipment and crew members. + Assist and work with others on construction crews. + Driver will perform manual labor activities with paving crews. + Other duties as assigned + Record all information on delivery ticket, sign, and turn in delivery ticket to designated place. + Observe and obey all traffic laws when operating truck. QUALIFICATIONS: + 1-2 years of driving experience + Valid Class A or B CDL. + Tanker endorsement + Must have an insurable driving record + High levels of skill in performing duties listed above + Heavy civil construction, road building, and concrete experience preferred + Attention and commitment to safety + Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively in a team environment + Must be at least 18 years of age + Ability to sit for long periods. + Ability to lift 65 lbs without assistance.
