Water Truck Driver w/CDL
**SWP Contracting & Paving** is hiring for an **Water Truck Driver w CDL,** willing to travel throughout Arizona. The Water Truck Driver is responsible for filling, transporting and applying water for compaction and dust control. Other duties include loading and unloading water at local facilities, conducting pre-trip checkup and inspecting equipment before operating to ensure safe working condition. **Responsibilities and Duties:** + Drives truck to transport water for construction projects and to apply water for compaction and/or dust control on the construction site. + Perform daily safety checks of fluid levels on oil, water, fuel and inspections for leaks and damage to vehicle before operation. + Responsible for daily maintenance of vehicle to remain in proper and safe working order. + Responsible for notifying supervisor if vehicle needs to be repaired. + Use jetting pipe for consolidated of material in trenches and other excavations. + Perform incidental work items and duties included within other crafts. **Qualifications:** + Valid Class A or B CDL with tanker and Airbrake endorsement. + Ability to drive manual transmission with no restrictions on CDL. + Must complete Maricopa Rule 310 certification. + Familiarity with DOT regulations. + Legally eligible to work in the United States. + A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. + Able to pass a drug test - SWP is a drug-free environment. + Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees. + 3 years' experience operating a Water Truck within the road construction industry is required. + Willingness to travel throughout Arizona. + The Driver/Operator must be able to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely. _KOMAN is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories._ _As a Federal Contract Employer, KOMAN Families of Companies follows Federal Laws as it pertains to drug testing.
