In the role of Sanitary Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to: Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems and collection systems under instruction from the Project EngineerPrepare plans for water and wastewater systems, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment distribution and collection systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and work directly with the ownerConduct quality control reviews of completed designsPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsBasic knowledge of CAD, Civil 3D, RevitMaster's degree in related engineering disciplineInterest in learning water treatment, watermain designer, pipeline condition assessmentEngineer in Training (EIT) certificate.Candidates without their EIT will be titled "Water/Wastewater Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progressionLocal candidates preferredRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldInterest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilitiesAutoCAD and/or MicroStation experienceMicrosoft Office experienceMust be able to work in a team environmentAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
