In the role of Water/Wastewater EIT , we'll count on you to:

· Assist the Senior Engineers with site studies, site designs, construction documentation preparation and graphic presentation

· Prepare plans and specifications for water pipelines

· Prepare plans and specifications for wastewater facilities and treatment systems

· Write first drafts of technical memoranda

· Read and understand technical manuals

· Prepare spreadsheet calculations

· Perform construction cost estimates

· Perform field work including

o inspection of concrete and steel facilities

o report preparation

· Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects

· Perform other duties, as needed

Preferred QualificationsMSEIT preferred, those hired without an EIT will be called a W/WW Coordinator and expected to obtain EIT for career progressionRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldEngineer in Training (EIT) certificate.Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilitiesAutoCAD and/or MicroStation experienceMicrosoft Office experience Must be able to work in a team environmentAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $64,260 - $86,940 annually and depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
