In the role of Water/Wastewater Engineer, we'll count on you to:

Take responsibility for performing complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures

· Work independently in addition to planning, organizing and assisting groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians dependent on project/task

· Function as technical specialist, deputy project manager, or project manager on mid-size projects as needed

· Supervise small staff of professionals and technicians as needed

· Create detailed designs of water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and collection/distribution systems.

· Prepare, process and civil design drawings and coordinate with BIM/CADD technicians for construction plans production.

· Perform equipment sizing and selection, and cost estimation.

· Present data in reports, memos and public forums; lead production of design calculations and technical reports

· Support construction phase implementation of infrastructure improvements by providing engineering services and serving as owner’s representative.

· Perform other duties as needed

Preferred QualificationsMSA minimum of 5 years' experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projectsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldPrevious experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projectsProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseSelf-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a taskAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
