Job Title: Water/Wastewater Engineer Job Description A growing Utah-based civil engineering firm seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license. The ideal candidate will have experience in municipal water design or treatment, including culinary or sewer water treatment, and will lead a team of three Engineers in Training (EITs) on various municipal water-related projects. The role requires expertise in booster pump stations, water tanks, water line replacement, hydraulics, and water modeling. Experience with lift stations and wastewater or culinary water treatment is essential. Responsibilities + Lead a team of three Engineers in Training (EITs) on various municipal water-related projects. + Design and manage projects involving booster pump stations, water tanks, and water line replacements. + Apply expertise in hydraulics and water modeling to ensure successful project outcomes. + Oversee lift stations and treatment processes in both wastewater and culinary water systems. + Communicate effectively with mayors and the public to present design plans and project updates. Essential Skills + Professional Engineer (PE) license. + Experience in municipal water design or treatment. + Proficiency in hydraulics and water modeling. + Experience with booster pump stations, water tanks, and water line replacements. + Experience with lift stations and wastewater or culinary water treatment. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD Civil 3D. + Project management experience. + Experience with water distribution and wastewater engineering. Work Environment The preferred work environment is in-office, five days a week, from 8 am to 5 pm.
