CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater Team in either Ambler, PA or Bethlehem,PA.

YOUR IMPACT

Clean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community’s well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects, handling every step from assessment to planning and design in these critical situations.

 

The Water/Wastewater Engineer conducts the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of technical various systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. At CHA, our Water/Wastewater Engineer works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.

 

The Water/Wastewater Engineer monitors progress and performance against the project plan and acts immediately to resolve operational problems and minimize delays, as well as recognizes technical discrepancies in analytical results, and makes appropriate corrections. The professional in this role identifies, develops, and gathers technical resources necessary to complete assignments. This individual completes field assignments when appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is requiredEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license is preferredMinimum of 3 years of related engineering experience is requiredWater inspection and/or water treatment plant experience preferredDemonstrates a strong working knowledge of the respective engineering field as well as proven ability to practically apply it in a professional environment Proficient in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)Understands QA/QC proceduresEffective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staffProficiency with Microsoft Office software requiredParticipation in a professional engineering society/organization is preferred SALARY RANGE:

$80,000 - $92,000

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
