Job Title: Water Wastewater Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Water Wastewater Engineer to lead teams in the delivery of water projects. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, participating in professional organizations, and engaging in business development activities. The ideal candidate will consistently manage projects on time and within budget while developing and maintaining long-term client relationships.

ResponsibilitiesLead teams in the delivery of water projects.Participate in local professional organizations and present market-specific papers and presentations.Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, structural, and CAD disciplines to produce plans and specifications.Assist in marketing business opportunities with key clients and develop responses to RFP/RFQs.Provide marketing and support during the procurement and execution of projects.Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.Consistently manage and deliver projects on time and within budget.Manage and mentor staff.Essential SkillsBachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.8+ years of relevant experience.Professional Engineer (PE) license in Iowa.Regional and technical expertise in water and wastewater engineering.Active participation in professional organizations.Excellent technical writing skills.Strong client relationship skills.Excellent design team leadership skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with civil engineering, wastewater, water resources, and water & wastewater projects.Work Environment

This is a hybrid position, requiring two days in the office and three days working remotely. The work environment encourages collaboration and innovation, utilizing advanced technologies and equipment to achieve project goals. Dress code is business casual.
