Job Title: Water Wastewater Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Wastewater Engineer to lead teams in the delivery of water projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with multiple disciplines to produce comprehensive plans and specifications, participating in local professional organizations, and preparing and presenting market-specific papers and presentations. Additionally, the role involves assisting in marketing business opportunities, developing long-term client relationships, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

ResponsibilitiesLead teams in the delivery of water projects.Participate in local professional organizations and prepare and present market-specific papers and presentations.Collaborate with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, structural, and CAD) to produce plans and specifications.Assist in marketing business opportunities with key clients and develop responses to RFPs/RFQs.Provide marketing support during the procurement and execution of projects.Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.Consistently manage and deliver projects on time and within budget.Manage and mentor staff.Essential SkillsBachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.8+ years of relevant experience.Professional Engineer (PE) license in IL.Regional and technical expertise in water and wastewater engineering.Excellent technical writing skills.Strong client relationship skills.Excellent design team leadership skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsActive participation in professional organizations.Work Environment
