Our Water Group is looking for a successful candidate who will provide technical leadership, staff support, and project management for a variety of infrastructure-related projects, primarily involving design of water and wastewater treatment facilities and pump stations.
Your Role:
Planning studies to evaluate the conditions and performance of existing hydraulic and process equipment and operations providing recommendation for improvements. Design all aspects of water/wastewater treatment plants and pump stations for both new construction and rehabilitation/replacement projects. Develop, evaluate, and prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and prepare technical reports Lead water/wastewater project design teams and perform inter-discipline coordination Meet and correspond with clients Perform engineering calculations for water/wastewater projects Support marketing of existing and potential clients and assist in the preparation of proposals Promote the Tetra Tech brand through work with professional and community organizations Mentor and train junior staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master’s Degree preferred Professional Engineer (PE) License in Ohio and Kentucky required, or able to obtain within one year. 15+ years in the municipal engineering sector Planning and design experience in PFAS treatment and lime-softening processes is beneficial. Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record Design experience with water/wastewater treatment and pump station projects Construction Management experience as Engineer of Record Highly motivated and high-performing team member with the ability to motivate others and lead teams in the preparation of project plans and client pursuits Proficient with elements of capital improvement projects process, including engineering, analysis, permitting, development of construction documents (plans and specifications), cost estimating, and construction administration and observation This position could require periodic travel, approximately 15% or moreSalary Range: Ohio: $118,000-$187,000
