In the role of Water/Wastewater Project Manager, we'll count on you to:Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium multi-discipline projects or large, single-discipline water and wastewaterprojectsGuide and direct junior staff in planning and design of project-specific elementsUse previous work experience in treatment, collections, or pumping of water/wastewater to guide direction of projectsIndependently coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's developmentEstablish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetingsParticipate in reviews with various governing agencies for project compliance and permittingConduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staffCoordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on scheduleTrack financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completedwithin parameters of agreed-to scheduleWork with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and withcompany management as neededPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsMaster's degreePMP certificationPlanning and design experience in any one or more categories: water treatment, wastewater treatment, pump stations and pipelines, conveyance, and distributionMust have the ability tointeract with various design teams, and have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both writtenand verbal) skillsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering 7 years related experience A minimum 2 years project management experience Professional Engineer (PE) license MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus) Demonstrated leadership skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
