Waterworks Manager II

Corrpro Companies is looking for a Waterworks Manager II.

Corrpro is a corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies.  

Lead the Waterworks team for the Western Region in the development of new business, while maintaining the existing customer base and implementing Corrpro Strategic plansProvide direction and analysis, interpretation of customer requirements, product and service application, management of operations, cost control implementation, and other related issues necessary to manage the Western RegionManage Operations (e.g. planning, talent development, budgeting, P&L) and business development (service line sales management, as well as development of new services and products aspects of the businessOversee recruitment, hiring, and training of staff for the regionEstablish a succession/career development program to ensure the best performers in the group have opportunities for success and advancementPartner with Human Resources for overall performance management and employee relations strategies within groupPrepare and implement plans and operating budgets that will achieve the Company’s desired level of growth and profitability for the Waterworks DivisionWork with Regional Operational Teams to provide leadership, direction, and development for all members of the staffCommunicate corporate vision and policies to group staffMerge existing systems, procedures and processes with the rest of CorrproOptimize cash flow of regional/group business, i.e. timely invoicing and collectionsMaximize profitability of the departmentProactively partner with Senior Sales Teams on principal accounts to develop new customers and maintain favorable relationships with existing customersPrepare and review proposals in cooperation with operations management and Corrpro sales teamBased on customer feedback, provide guidance to Waterworks and other department managers to facilitate continuous improvementRegular involvement in key trade and industry associationsDevelop and oversee safety and technical training programs for all field staffOversee subcontractor relationships to maintain quality workmanship and profitability

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business, preferredAMPP CP Certification10 years of operational management and business development experienceExperienced with Safety Management, Contract Negotiation, P&L Management, Sales and EstimatingExperienced with service business within water marketsStrong Leadership and Interpersonal skills with experience successfully leading and developing Field Technicians and subcontractorsMust be a motivated, self-starter able to take initiative and identify what must be done without day-to-day guidance Ability to do regional travel 30% of the time
