Description:Collects and processes specimens. Performs laboratory testing for clinic patients. Acts as a collaborating member of the clinic medical home team and it highly committed to a team construct. Adheres to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare’s performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare

What you will Do:   

Successfully performs HAC functions.Obtains specimens from patients for analysis.Perfoms Sunquest and Plus functions for HIM.Performs clinical testing of laboratory specimens and reviews data for clinical correlation.Communicates results of testing

Hours/Schedule:

Full-Time / 40 Hours Weekly (1.0FTE)

Minimum Qualifications:      

Associate’s degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory TechnologyCertification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by ASCP preferred. Mandatory Reporter
