SUMMARY:
Under general supervision inspect wax patterns and assemblies for conformance to specifications following established methods and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work from inspection procedures, repair/gating programs and techniques, specifications, photographs and/or instructions to visually inspect and check wax patterns for surface finish and smoothness, blending of features, flash, non-fills, air bubbles, core pulls, holes and cracks. Detect, track and report defective parts or unusual conditions. Advise lead people, supervision, and wax operator of any apparent quality problems in an effort to correct them at that operation.Effectively communicate to Engineering when issues arise concerning defective parts.Load inspection data into the Worksmanship application spread sheet.Follow prescribed safety regulations. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.Perform related duties, as assigned.Must know and follow all departmental and company safety rules.
