Your New Role…

Join our vibrant merchandising team and become a key player in ensuring our operations run seamlessly. As a Merchandising Assistant, you’ll be at the core of our mission to have the right products in the right place at the right time. Your role will be crucial in supporting the smooth running of our department, ensuring the allocation of products to maximise sales and growth. You’ll oversee the entire purchase order process, from creation to delivery in the warehouse, and collaborate closely with your merchandising colleagues, learning and developing every step of the way.

Your Role Accountabilities…

Assist the team to prepare for daily, weekly reports and ensure allocations and administration is completed to the highest standards.

Own, plan, and action allocations to maximise sales and revenue in all our channels, optimise performance and handle ad-hoc allocations for promotions and events.

Ensure our key lines are always in stock.

Support the Junior Merchandiser with intake management, maintaining and updating the delivery schedules.

Maintain and update delivery schedules and weekly intake forecasts.

Produce accurate reports for meetings and other purposes.

Raise, issue, and maintain accurate purchase orders to ensure that stock is received on time and accurately.

Evolve existing and bring new processes and ideas to the function.

Demonstrate some understanding of the Harry Potter fan and the expectations they have when visiting any of our locations.

Stay informed about market, political and economic trends as well as competitor activities on the high street and online.

Accompany colleagues on tour, store, and warehouse visits in the UK and work with internal and external partners to resolve queries effectively.

Qualifications & Experience…

Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships.

Comfortable with numbers and keen to probe to understand more.

Strong organisational and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.

A methodical, accurate, and logical approach to work.

Ability to prioritise and manage workload efficiently.

Effective communication with strong written and verbal skills.

A great attitude and a willingness to learn.

Relevant degree; or a minimum of ‘A’ level standard or equivalent vocational qualification, with at least 6 months experience in a similar head office role.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel.

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or other merchandising systems is advantageous but not essential.

Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter (WBSTL), an indoor attraction that invites visitors to step into the fascinating behind-the-scenes world of Harry Potter and the Wizarding World. The Studio Tour offers special features to enable visitors to deepen their understanding of how the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films were made. With iconic film sets to explore, costumes and props to discover and magical experiences to delight, the indoor attraction invites visitors to enjoy scenes from the films first-hand and discover how the world's favourite book series was brought to life on screen.

The Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9¾ invites visitors to capture the magic of “pushing a trolley through the wall” at our popular photo experience. Then explore the shop, which showcases a wide range of official Harry Potter merchandise in a uniquely themed environment, all in the heart one of London’s busiest railway stations.

This expanding portfolio of Warner Bros. Discovery-owned Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts offerings includes ground-breaking touring experiences and events, each developed to celebrate special moments and locations that fans cherish, as well as the Platform 9 3⁄4 retail shops and iconic flagship store Harry Potter New York and the new Harry Potter Shop Chicago. Wizards, Witches and Muggles alike can also discover something new as they explore behind-the-scenes secrets at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter and Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
