The Workers’ Compensation Medical Programs Workflow Specialist role combines business process modeling skills, insurance knowledge, and analysis to document activities, tasks, and processes ensuring they are as efficient and effective as possible, and the best WC Claim product is being delivered to Chubb clients. Supporting Medical Programs and working with strategic vendor partners, Claims, Claim Centers, Operations and Claim Compliance, you will leverage your process-driven, analytical, communication, and process documentation skills to record, identify, define, and suggest process reengineering, automation, and future state transformation use cases and ensure strategic priorities and transformation strategies are fully implemented and functioning effectively. This position will work a 3/2 Hybrid model at one of our offices located in Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Alpharetta, GA, New Haven, CT or Philadelphia, PA.
In this role you will:
Conduct discovery, research, interviews, and analysis to gather, document and update various Claims, Operations, Vendor etc. processes and workflows. Create business process documentation (Visio process maps, high level summaries, workflows, etc.) to understand procedure steps, interdependencies, resource usage, and applications used to complete transactions. Lead implementation of Medical Programs strategies within the WC Discipline, ensuring effective communication to all stakeholders, and confirming effective implementation through ongoing measurement and reinforcement. Be a key member of the WC Discipline team, collaborating with peers, and engaging every level of staff, to identify opportunities for improvement, being accountable for delivering assigned responsibilities, and contributing to the overall quality of the claim product being delivered to our customers. Collaborate on development of training content and resource material for WC staff, understanding target audience is both new and experienced employees. Develop and maintain data dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present complex data in a clear and concise manner. Assist with Medical Programs billing management and preparations of team scorecards, snapshots and partner with vendor management to create vendor dashboard and analyze data. Manage team IT tickets/change forms, assist with Expressions/letter review and refresh. Help design, support and document future state resolutions that may include process reengineering, automation, product simplification, optimizing capacity utilization, streamlining/simplifying systems, improving customer experience, and reducing issues and pain points. Manage and direct the effective implementation of new technologies and the use of existing systems. Participate in key projects as assigned, both as individual contributor and project leader. Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry. Workers’ Compensation claim handling experience and workflows experience. Business process modeling (BPM), workflow documentation, or training delivery experience/certifications. Proficiency with process documentation tools (Visio, PowerPoint, Lucidchart, etc.).The pay range for the role is $71,500 to $115,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
