The approximate dates of this internship is June 2025 to January 2026 and will be located in either Glendale, CA or Orlando, FL.

What You Will Do  

We are looking for a Project Engineering intern who will be responsible for the technical coordination and integration of the Design and Planning (D&P) disciplines during the course of a specific project, land, or park including coordination of D&P efforts with Creative, Show and Ride Studios! As an intern on the team, you will have the opportunity to: 

Assist Project Engineer or Design Manager in the architecture and facilities engineering project coordination and integration from conceptual design through construction of themed entertainment projects Assist in facilitating technical coordination of A/E design documents, models, specs, basis of design among D&P disciplines and across WDI Divisions (Creative, Show and Ride) and in consideration of programmatic requirements (Operational Stakeholders)  Assist in organizing and facilitating big room/Integrated Concurrent Engineering (ICE) sessions and design reviews  Assist with quality assurance and control, both with design documentation as well as field construction  Assisting in the resolution of questions arising from construction documents, field conditions and contractor requests for information  Track of facility punch lists Coordinate document release process between disciplines and document control specialist (plot coordination, repro and digital/physical distribution)  Provide technical input to other project team members as required to assist with project decision-making and settling of contractor change orders  Resolve questions arising from construction documents, field conditions and contractor requests for information  

Required Qualifications & Skills 

Working knowledge of Building Information Management (BIM) Knowledgeable in the use of computer technology in the CADD generation of drawings Experience working with punch lists in a construction environment 

Education  

Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university earning a degree majoring in Engineering, Architecture, or similar 

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information  

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship  Be at least 18 years of age  Possess unrestricted work authorization  Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

The pay rate for this role in California and Florida is $30 per hour for undergraduate students and $35 per hour for graduate level students.
