Position Summary

 

Reporting to the Principle of Wealth Management, the Wealth Advisor will,

 

The Wealth Advisor assists in leading the Sikich Financial client services team with advising clients by helping them determine their overall wealth strategy and implementing that strategy.  The primary objective is to help our clients by investing and managing their assets in a way that maximizes the likelihood they will be able achieve their life and financial goals.

Our Wealth Advisors coordinate well-developed investment plans for our clients, following an advanced planning process to address client goals, financial planning issues, income tax considerations, and estate planning.  The WA develops and maintains good working relationships with clients, other Wealth Advisors, and CPA firm professionals. 

Sikich Financial is positioned in the marketplace as a Wealth Advisory firm that adheres to modern portfolio theory and has incorporated an investment philosophy that is academically-based and evidence supported. 

Position Description - Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide Strategic Wealth Planning for Clients

Build trusted relationships through well-developed interpersonal and communication skillsManage complex client situations with careful consideration of a holistic wealth management approachAssist with financial and advanced planning analysis and strategiesCompile and analyze client financial dataPerform research related to specific financial planning and income tax issues

Portfolio Management

Implement, monitor, re-balance, and tax-manage client portfoliosDevelop the Investment Policy Statement after defining the client’s ability, willingness, and need to take investment riskManage client emotions in ways to lead to a successful investing experience

Facilitate Client Interactions

Lead client meetingsMaintain on-going communication with clientsWork with Team to on-board new clients

Develop Specialized Expertise

Bring or develop specialized expertise in multiple functional and technical areas serving as a subject matter expert

Additional Responsibilities

Understanding of our investment philosophy and strategy, and ability to communicate our story clearly and with convictionWork efficiently and collaboratively with both Wealth and CPA team members

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, accounting or finance preferred5+ years working as an Advisor with fee-based experience, working in the field of accounting, finance or other comparable professionCFP or CPA/PFS preferredSeries 65 licensing required

 Specialized Skills:

Strong communication and listening skills and ability to multi-taskAbility to process complex financial scenarios; understanding of firm investment strategy, philosophy, and policyAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to be proficient with multiple software programs

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $108,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
