Wealth Deposits Business Treasury Lead Analyst - C13 - NEW YORK
Wealth Business Treasury is a global team that partners with Wealth business seniors, LFO teams, 2LoD and broader finance teams on topics related to FTP, Liquidity management, IRR and overall B/S return optimization. With the recent re-organization, Wealth business constitutes of Citigold, Citi Private Bank (CPB) and Wealth at Work (WaW) business segments. Overall the team has a geographical footprint in NY, London, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Wealth Business Treasury Ld Analyst - C13 sits in the NY office and supports the US Deposit franchise for the Wealth business. The role requires an experienced professional who can lead decision making efforts, design solutions and partner with business / 2LoD / CTI /LFOs on execution. This requires strong communication and senior stakeholder management skills. The C13 resource also needs to advocate Treasury perspective on IRR and liquidity management goals and importantly align them to the business strategy. The role also provides Treasury coverage on new activity reviews to ensure completeness of liquidity, FTP, IRR and capital impact of new initiatives brought to NAC for approval. The Wealth deposits business treasury team plays a critical role in measuring, monitoring, and managing business liquidity/interest rate risk, drives decision making through analytical support and insight, as well as contributes to overall management of Citi’s balance sheet. **Responsibilities:** + Contributes to the governance of funding, investing and analytics of the balance sheet. This includes + Lead Deposit beta review and hedging process for US CPB and WaW deposits. Ensure that Transfer Pricing and Liquidity Premium assessed for the deposit portfolio is aligned to the underlying deposit characteristics + Work with Treasury verticals on strategic initiatives such as hedge frameworks, liquidity assumptions, business risk appetite etc. + Participates in managing liquidity and interest rate risk, the capital/legal entity structure and capital planning as well as managing rating agency relationships. + Involved in capital markets activities including commercial paper and securitization; liquidity, accrual risk oversight and transfer pricing. + Exposure to Citi’s balance sheet and develop understanding of data and technology infrastructure supporting the liquidity reporting process. + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related field preferred, + 6-10 years of experience in Finance + Must have advanced analytical skills but also the ability to see the big picture + Excellent communication skills are imperative i.e. ability to make complex subjects easily digestible for senior management + Exercises proven Power Point and Excel skills + Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Ability to interact with all levels of management Must be a team player **Education:** + Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Finance ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Balance Sheet Management ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location:** New York New York United States ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $142,320.00 - $213,480.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
