Job Summary
As a Private Banker Associate in the JPMorgan Private Bank, you are responsible for providing support to a Senior Banker in all facets of managing their books of business. You will play a key role assisting a Senior Banker in new client acquisition and retention through a broad knowledge of investments, banking, trust services and financial planning. Your primary goal is to enhance client experience and assist our resources with delivering a complete wealth management solution to clients.
Job Responsibilities
Provide leverage to the Senior Banker on daily client priorities including maintaining client relationships, answering clients’ enquiries, day-to-day account operations Support the Senior Banker during the sales process and ongoing client management, which includes reviewing and building pitch books, coordinating information, communicating with clients and executing on client needs Support the Senior Banker on client hierarchy and pipeline management Assist the Senior Banker in the sale of investments, banking and trust services including, but not limited to: asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, basic trust and estate products, and identification of wealth planning opportunities Work in close partnership with Investors in proposing, delivering, and executing solutions for clients; as well as in identifying new business opportunities alongside with the Senior Banker Update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investments opportunities, risks Assist senior banker in preparing presentations and proposals, and send out various promotion items to clients on request Keep track of Clients, AUMs and Revenues using our internal systems; periodic calculation of account performance Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, operational, and due diligence requirementsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Applicants must be university degree qualified or equivalent, in any discipline Applicants must have minimum 4 years of professional experience in a similar Relationship Manager capacity at another Private Bank or if they are from another discipline, must display or hold UHNW network and relationships in the Australia market Strong presentation skills, an excellent communicator with client facing experience and existing UHNW client relationships in the Australia region Good understanding of the needs and sensitivities of clients (private individuals and families) Proven track record on investment sales and / or relationship management performance Able to work under minimal supervision; adaptable to work in demanding environmentPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
