Job Summary
As an Investor Lead in the J.P.Morgan Private Bank, you are responsible for helping the Banker win new clients and deepen and strengthen existing client relationships through advisement on investment solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and monitor team’s performance against financial and other targets Work closely with Market Manager(s) to develop market growth strategy and to solidify the team structure Be the lead Investor on a portfolio of key client relationships for the Southeast Asia business, and act as primary resource for investment communication. Work in close partnership with Private Bankers. Conduct investment reviews with clients to validate the clients’ current investment objectives and prepare recommendations of appropriate investment products Understand & effectively communicate the bank views and solutions to clients to help them meet their financial objectives; maintain investment dialogue with clients and implement overall investment plan Develop relationships with immediate team members (Investors & Bankers) and work as a team to ensure that the business meets its Goals Supervise, coach, and train junior staff to maximize their individual contribution to the team as required Adhere to the Bank’s policies and procedures thereby protecting the business from financial and reputational risks Work closely with other teams in meeting all compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and compliance with internal policies May require regular travel into coverage regions to foster relationships
Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities:
Bachelor’s degree or it’s equivalent in any discipline Minimum 15 years of professional experience in a similar investment advisory capacity at another private bank covering ultra-high net worth clients Strong leadership and management skills, with relevant experience managing a team of investment advisors covering ultra-high net worth clients Strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of clients (private individuals and families) Proven track record on investment sales and / or relationship management performance Thorough knowledge of the full range of solutions and investment products and strong knowledge of relevant financial markets and instruments
Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses preferred. However, if you do not possess an existing Representatives Notification Framework (RNF) Register in Singapore, you will be required to sit for Client Advisor Competency Standards (CACS) Paper 1 & 2, in order to get registered as a Representative with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for the private banking industry.
