Wealth Planner Manager
Description

The Wealth Planner Manager will be responsible for delivering Huntington Private Bank’s financial planning experience to high-net-worth clients within the $1m to $10m segment in a specific geographic market. This role is also responsible for leading Wealth Planners across the footprint.  Wealth Planner Manager will be responsible for reviewing financial plans as well as training Wealth Advisors on planning and discovery.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the Financial Planning team that provides training, development, and support to Wealth AdvisorsDevelop training and curriculum to support Wealth Planners overall growthAnalyze and provide guidance on wealth planning and relationship review adoption and collaborate with sales leadership to improve client engagement in the planning process           Establish financial planning standards and oversee quality controlCoordinate with the Wealth Strategy Group to develop client insights to support delivery of a high-quality client experienceDevelop advisor best practices to effectively build and manage a book of HNW client relationshipsLead team of Wealth Planners driving a consistent but customized planning experienceMeet with Wealth Advisors in market regularly to identify opportunities for new financial plans or updating existing plans in order to retain and expand client relationshipsAttend client meetings with Wealth Advisors and assist in discovery to understand clients’ goals and objectives to develop a customized financial planBuild financial plans within the software system including gathering data, inputting data, and modeling dataPresent financial plans at client meetings with clear steps of actionContinuously build and refine planning and discovery training for Wealth AdvisorsWork with other colleagues in the market to ensure clients’ holistic needs are addressedMaintain and expand knowledge of complex, advanced planning techniques and relevant legislative and regulatory changes; conduct research as neededPerform other duties as needed

 

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree5+ years of related experience
 

Preferred Qualifications
 

CPA, CFP or CWSStrong knowledge of investments, estate planning, retirement and cash flow, education planning, business planning, benefits planning, risk management, philanthropic planning, credit, and liquidityDemonstrated client advisory and servicing skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsCompetency with Money Guide Pro, eMoney, MS Windows and Office Products & Salesforce
